This morning we had the Ed Morris charter out. The trip was supposed to be a tog/striper combo trip but the crew decided to just make it stripers. GOOD CHOICE!! We started out in the rips and had good action up until noon when the water got dirty with the crew landing 50 bass with 6 keepers to 38"s. We decided to take a shot up the beach and look for some bass and the bite shut down in the rips and low and behold we found the mother load! In less than 2 hours the guys landed over 100 bass and put 7 more keepers in the box. We left the bass biting with over 150 bass to our credit. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again!

Capt. Tom

12-8
We had an open boat crew this afternoon of Alison, Holly, Bill, Jack, Frank, and Gary out. We pounded the rips with less than stellar results. We had a half dozen bites that just didn't come tight so we picked up and ran about 12 miles up the beach for the last bit of day light. We found some birds working and picked a dozen or so bass out of a couple drops but the big schools of fish were not to be found. Thanks for fishing with us everyone and we'll crush em next time!

Capt. Tom

12-2
This morning we had the Lee Hummel father/son charter out. We were able to make it to the rips today and the fish were there! The two guys brought 25 bass to the boat putting a couple in the box and had a bunch of other hits. Thanks for fishing with us guys.

Capt. Tom

12-1 PM
In the afternoon we had the Brian Lunney charter out and we found the fish right where we left them. The guys did a great job on the rods bringing 31 bass and 25 big blues to the boat. We always have a great time with you guys and we are looking forward to our next spring bass trip!

Capt. Tom

12-1 AM

We had the Tony Marcucci charter out this morning for some bass. A 25-30 knot NW wind kept us out of the rips so we headed up the beach looking for fish. It took us a little while to find them but we did. The guys landed 15 bass and 15 big blues all on metal. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

11-28
Capt. Sr and mate Capt. Joe Fumo had an open boat trip out today to the rips. Things started off great and last the entire trip. The guys brought 32 bass to the boat with 4 going in the box. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

11-25
Sunday we had the John Emmel charter out to the rips. Conditions were good and the bass were there. The guys managed a dozen fish with three going in the box and had a bunch of other bites. Two of the fish weighed in at 18lbs and the other was around 14lbs. Nice fish. Thanks for fishing with us guys.

Capt. Tom

11-24
We had Chris O'Meara out with some more of his friends this morning. The winds definitely quietted down from yesterday and we were able to get to the rips. We made some moves and picked away at the fish. The guys were able to boat 10 bass with 3 going in the box. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

11-23 PM
With the NW winds increasing to around 30 knots for the afternoon we took the Chris O'Meara charter right back to where we left the fish in the morning. Not much was happening, we moved around a little and set up in some different areas. Finally at the end we started to get some bass bites and managed 5 bass with 3 going in the box to 33"s. Thanks for fishing with us guys.

Capt. Tom

11-23 AM
Friday morning we had the Mike Dorita party out for stripers. The plan was to fish the rips but the 25 knot NW winds changed all that. Plan B was to go out and clam some so we did. The guys picked through skates and doggies and managed 6 bass with 1 going in the box and a nice blue. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

11-20
We had Jeff, Ron, and Bob out in the afternoon for some bass chunking. Things started off a little slow but we finally got them going boating a couple of real nice blues, 2 keeper bass around 33"s, and releasing another 10 bass. The fish were hitting very lite and dropping the baits on the dropbacks. We definitely had over 50 bites for the trip. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

11-17
We had the Mark Reitter charter out today with Mark and his father Ed. NOAA blew the forecast this morning and the NW winds were still cranking so we headed out front and anchored up with some fresh bunker while Mark and Ed started jigging. It wasn't long before Ed hooked up with a keeper bass. The bluefish started in on us soon after and it was tough leaving a bait pole in the water. The wind layed down enough for a shot at the rips. We had some bites and managed 3 more fish to the boat but only shorts. Thanks for fishing with us again Mark and Ed, looking forward to our next trip.

Capt. Tom

11-14
Today we had Jack and the guys out to the rips to scare up some bass. The guys managed about a dozen bass with a couple going in the box and some nice blues. We also had alot of bites that just didn't come tight. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to fishing with you again.

Capt. Tom

11-12 PM
In the afternoon we had the Lou Tarleo charter out. We had some unfriendly conditions with a SW wind and just shut the bite right off. We pounded away at em and only came away with 3 shorts. Thanks for fishing with us guys and we'll mug em next time.

Capt. Tom

11-12 AM
Monday morning we had the Bo Mason charter out looking to get in on some bassin. We started out all by ourselves and on the first two passes put 2 nice bass in the box before the fleet showed up. The bite slowed down but we picked at the bass for while putting 3 more in the box. The smallest was 35" and the biggest 42" and 25lbs. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

11-11 PM
We had Lou and the guys from DM Sabia Masonary out in the afternoon with more great weather and some bass. The afternoon was a bit tougher today but the guys managed 4 nice bass up to 30lbs. Great fishing with you guys, can't wait for the next time.

Capt. Tom

11-11 AM
Sunday morning we had the Andy Rice charter out. We picked away at the bass most of the morning ending up with 7 keepers with a couple of 25lbers in the box. Thanks for fishing with us guys and looking forward to your next trip.

Capt. Tom

11-8
Thursday afternoon we had the Mark Reitter charter out for some bassin. Mark's crew bailed on him last minute and I'm sure they're sorry they did. Mark had a great trip getting 17 bites and landing 5 bass to 23lbs. and also pulling a few hooks on hooked up fish. Thanks for fishing with us Mark and look forward to fishing with you in a week or so.

Capt. Tom

11-4
Sunday afternoon we had the Bill Bartow charter out for our first striper trip of the year. The crew toughed out some less than ideal conditions with wind against a stiff 20-25 knot NW wind and managed to bring 2 bass to the boat, a short and a 36"er. We also had about 10 other bites that just didn't come tight. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

10-13/14
Saturday we had the Nick D'Mario charter out for a mid-October overnighter. We left the dock at noon with a nice run to the grounds. After looking around we set up on the chunk with good baits marks on the edge. We didn't get our first bite until around 7:30 which was a small sword around 50lbs which was quickly released to grow up. We got the tuna going around 8:00 with a small blitz putting a couple fish in the the boat. From then until about 3:00 we were picking a fish here and a couple there. The crew decided we had enough fish and with the increasing wind and seas we headed home around 4:00. The tally was 12 yellowfin between 50 and 90+lbs with most in the 75-80lbs. and one sword release. We had a great time fishing with you guys and look forward to doing it again.

Thanks,
Capt. Tom

10-6/7
Saturday night we had John, Joe, John, Greg, and Ben out for an overnight tuna trip. We got the first going about 6:30pm and picked throughtout the night putting 7 yellowfin to 80lb and 3 longfin to 45lbs in the box. The highlight of the trip had to be a 35+ foot whaleshark coming up the slick to the back of the boat. He was so close you could had reached down and touched him. He went passed us and circled back under the boat and went on his way. Awesome sight!! Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

9-23
Sunday we had Damien, Butch, Tim, Joe, and Chris out for their private charter. With the troll bite still off, we decided to try something different and do a day chunk. We set up around 6:30 and started chunking. It took a little to get em going but we did. Between 9 and 11 we went 4 for 6 on 80-90lb yellowfin. With the wind coming up the crew decided to head in at noon with plenty of meat in the box. Thanks for fishing with us guys and looking forward to the next time!

Capt. Tom

9-22
Saturday we had the Mark Bachman charter out for an inshore troll trip. We set up with light tackle trolling for false ablies and got into them good. The only problem was that they weren't hooking up so good. We had over 40 bites and landed 5. We also had a shot at a bluefin that pulled the hook. All in all the guys had a good time and caught some fish. Thanks for fishing with us and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

9-20/21
Thursday we had a cancelled charter, so with the great weather window I called one of our regular charter guys, Chris O'Meara, and we were off to the edge. We set up on the troll and missed a white. We looked around and went back to the same area and went 2 for 2 on longfin. We didn't have a tuna until the sun started to come up and went 2 for 3 landing a 60 and 80lb fish. We did, however, go 2 for 4 on swords. Releasing a just legal fish and keeping one between 90 and 100lb. Up on the troll in the morning we raised another white that was window shopping and headed for the barn.

Capt. Tom

9-12
Wednesday we had the Harry Heater charter out for an inshore troll trip. We were greeted with 25 knot NW winds to start off the trip but the guys hung in there and it layed down to flat seas by 11am. Most of the trip was pretty slow with a couple of bonita jumping on but pulled the hook on both. We eventually found some fish and it was all out false ablie mayhem! Over an hour and forty five minutes we had over 25 bites and boated 14 up to 18lbs. and headed home with flat seas and meat in the box. Thanks for fishing with guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

9-2/3
Sunday we had the Chris O'Meara charter out for an overnighter. The afternoon troll was uneventful so we set up early and had our first yellowfin on before the sun went down. We quickly put a 65# yellowfin in the boat. Between 10 and 11 o'clock, we added 2 more yellowfin in the 70-75# range to the box and lost one more. The guys also had some light tackle fun with 14 dolphin that found their way into the box. Up on the troll in the am, We had a 2 whites in the spread, one hooking up and the other hitting right at the transom while clearing the lines. The second one never hooked up, but we pulled the hook on the first and then missed him twice after coming back to the bait and finally busting the leader on the fourth shot. Hot white, huh???!!!! Before heading in we added another yellowfin to the box about 85-90#. Its always a pleasure to fish with Chris and his crew. Looking forward to fishing with you guys again.

Capt. Tom

8-24/25
We had the Gary Halbe charter out for an overnighter Friday into Saturday. We left the dock at 7:30 Friday night and we set up with lines in at 1am. We didn't have a bite until 6am when the sword line went off. After a brief fight we pulled the hook and reset the lines from 6:15 until 9:15 we had about 15 or so bites putting 7 yellowfin and 1 longfin in the box. We got up on the troll and managed 6 tuna bites but only put one in the box and missed a white. The yellowfin were real nice fish between 60 and 75 lbs and the longfin about 50lbs. We had a great time with our crew and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

8-5
Sunday we had the Ron Main charter out for some bluefin hunting. We had lines in at 4:30am and had 2 knockdowns at 5am. Both were short bites and didn't come tight. We worked our way South and stayed out of the fleets. Finally found some bait marks and stayed on them for an hour when the rigger goes down and Mike was tight on a fish. As I started to see color the other rigger goes down and Vince is tight on another nice fish. We put both fish in the box at 46 1/2" and 48". We set up on the chunk in the same area with one hook up that chaffed through the leader. Fishing remains decent with the quality of the fish around. You just have to work for them. During the week is definitely better, so if you want to get a shot at some real nice fish now is the time.

Capt. Tom

7-26
Thursday we had Zack and his friends out for a shot at some inshore tuna. We left later than we wanted so we missed the early morning bite. We picked a few bluefish throughout the day and right at lines out, the rigger went down and started to scream. Zack jumped on the rod and within 30 mins we gaffed a 46 inch bluefin to finish the day.

Capt. Tom

7-25
Wednesday we had Jerry and Audrey out for some tuna fishing. We ran down south for at a shot at some big bluefin and were not disappointed. I only got one line in the water when we had our first hit only to break off. We had a fair amount of action on the troll throughout the day going 2 for 7 only bluefin to 60lbs and releasing a small mako. The fish are definitely there and everyone should take advantage of the bite going on right now.

Capt. Tom

7-14
Saturday we had an open boat crew of Ron, Scott, Pierre, Josh, Howell, and Dave out for some tuna fishing. With some bad reports from the canyon, we decided to give the bluefin to the south a shot. We set up on the chunk with some great bait marks and it wasn't long before Scott was tight to a tuna. We landed a 44" 54lber and as soon as the fish hit the deck Dave was on. We released a 46" 60lb fish and went back at it. We had some more hits but no hook ups so we decided to get up on the troll and had one knock down that didn't come tight. All in all, we had about 9 bites and brought two to the boat. Thanks for fishing with guys, we had a blast!!

Capt. Tom

7-12
Thursday we had Eugene and his group out for a day troll at the canyon. The weather was less than stellar with 5-8' seas out of the north northeast. The guys hung in there and we managed to put them on some fish, going 6 for 10 on yellowfin up to 60lbs. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again!!

Capt. Tom

7-8
Saturday we had an open boat group of Kevin, Jeff, and John out for some tuna fishing. We ran down south to the tuna and had baits in the water at 5:30am. We had our first hit at about 8:30 with a tuna coming up and missing a bait. A couple of passes over the numbers and a reel starts screaming. Jeff did a great job on his first tuna landing a 50+ lber in no time. We didn't have any more tuna bites for the day but Kevin did catch a 15lb dolphin before we headed home. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

7-4
Wednesday we had the Charlotte Connors private charter out for some inshore bluefin. Conditions were anything but stellar, but the crew toughed it out and landed 4 bluefin, keeping one and releasing three, in only 2 hours of fishing. All the fish were 30-35lbs. We had a great time and are looking forward to fishing with you again.

Capt. Tom

6-28
Thursday we had Fred Hawg and his charter along looking for some inshore bluefin. The bite that was on for last couple of days fizzled as we only had one tuna bite that missed the bait. The guys stayed busy with bluefish all between 10 and 15lbs. Some real bruisers! We ended the day with 17 blues. Thanks for fishing with us guys and we'll get you a tuna next time!

Capt. Tom

6-23
Saturday we had the Greg Johnson charter from Kansas City out for a troll trip. We got into the blues real good and landed 19 big fish by the end of the day. We had many more bites and the fish seemed not to be real aggressive today. Thanks for fishing with us and looking forward to doing it again next year.

Capt. Tom

6-16
Saturday we had the Frank Abuzzese charter out looking for some bluefish. It was a slow start but the guys did wind up with 7 big blues by the end of the trip. Great fishing with you guys and look forward to doing it again.

We had the Mike Childress private charter out for some drumming. With less than ideal conditions, the guys hung in there and put a decent catch together. 4 drum went for a ride home with the biggest being 62lbs and the smallest 48lbs. As always we had a great time, lots of laughs and lots of high fives. Looking forward to doing it again!

Capt. Tom

6-1
Friday afternoon we had the Brian Lunney private charter out. The guys elected to fore go their scheduled striper trip due to the slow bite and we ran up the bay looking for some big drum. We made our one and only drop of the trip and it didn't take long before rods started to bent. The 4 man charter tallied 9 drum, 5 of which were over 50 to 65 lbs., keeping 3 for the grill. We also lost a couple at the boat and missed some more bites. Thanks guys and looking forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

5-27
This afternoon we had an open boat trip and our lone angler was Ron. We made the run to the drum ground and set up. Not much on the first drop but trash. We made a move and it payed off. Ron landed 2 drum @ 40 and 25lbs. Thanks for fishing with us Ron and we are looking forward to that tuna trip.

Capt. Tom

5-26
We had Ray, Louis, Jackie, and Bill out for some afternoon drumming. We had Bill hooked up before the anchor even came tight on a nice fish. After a great battle, a 64lber hit the deck. Next up was Jackie. After a 20 minute fight big ole 68lber went in the box. We hung in there till after dark with no more takers.

Capt. Tom

5-25
This afternoon we had Will and his private charter out for some drummin. We were delayed about an hour and a half due to the traffic getting to the boat, so we missed out on most  of the good bite. We did manage to get Will his first drum at about 50#. Congrats Will and look forward to fishing with you again.

Capt. Tom

5-20
Sunday afternoon we had Allison, Holly, and Paul out. We moved a couple of times and finally got on some drum. Holly landed a 38lber and Paul landed a 25lber. Lots of trash fish today and blues mixed in too.

Capt. Tom

5-19
Saturday afternoon we had Chris Cunningham and his son Tyler out for some drum. We made a few moves, missed a few fish and Tyler finally hooked up with his first drum at about 35lbs. It was a little slow for everyone in the area but the drum bite is improving on the whole.

Capt. Tom

5-14
Monday afternoon we had the Hank Bantal charter out to look for some drum. We went and looked a little, found some marks and set up shop. It wasn't long before Ray hooked up and boated a 25lber. Next up was Mike. After a great fight a 64lber hit the deck. Then Eric (this was his birthday trip) bowed up and put the boots to a 52lber. Ray finished up with another 20lber. We missed several bites and we marked em real good. Things are definitely looking up and they should be snappin' real good any day now! Not to mention the bass are back and we'll be fishing our morning trips up the bay and in the rips looking for some big linesiders!! Call or email for availbility.

Capt. Tom

 5-5 PM
Well, this trip started out great. First we had 2 no shows, then, with the low tide we wrapped something on the wheel that just didn't want to come off. The guys at Snug Harbor were great. We yanked the boat and was back in the water and on our way in 30 minutes! Turned out to be a 10'x10' canvas tarp! Got a call from Skip and we were on our way. The drum bite was definitely on!!! Eugene, Joe, Pat, and Chris boated their limit of 12 drum to 35lbs keeping 4. I would also like to say great job on the guys part for only keeping 4 drum!
Capt. Tom

5-5 AM
We had Duane, Steve, Rachael, and Mike out for their private charter for some bassin'. It was a slow morning but the group was able to boat 5 bass, keeping 3 up to 21lbs. Great fishing with you and looking forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

4-22
Sunday we had Kevin and Nick back out on the bay for another shot at the striped ones. We had a tough day as we only landed about 10 fish with one for the box. We were in the right areas but just weren't getting the bites. Thanks for fishing hard guys, we'll mug em on your next trip!!!

Capt. Tom

4-21
Saturday we had Kevin, Dan, and John on board. We set up at our first spot with some decent marks. We pulled a couple of fish and then made a little move to see if we could find something a little better. The second stop yielded a steady bite for the rest of the tide. The three anglers tallied about 35 stripers with half being keepers to 35". A limit with a bonus fish and released a bunch of keepers. We also released a 28+" tagged fish.

Capt. Tom

4-14 PM

Great fishing with you guys and looking forward to doing it again!

Capt. Tom

4-14 AM
This morning we had Lou, Mike, Dan, Peanut, Gary, and Carlos out for an open boat striper trip. The trip started off great with immediate hook ups as soon as the lines hit the water.
