Today we had the Mike Fennesy charter aboard for a 3/4 day of flukin. Things started off slow with a pick of throwbacks. We made a couple of moves and the last proved to be the right one. In an hour, the crew put the smack down on the flatties! We tallied 9 keepers to 4lbs and about 60 throwbacks. Thanks for fishing with us and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

Today we had the Mike O'Neil charter offshore. We worked inshore of the 100 line, on the 100 line, then back inshore looking for the good water that had been there two days ago. But with the strong NW wind the day before, the good water had moved off about 20 miles into the deep. We decided to work structure and came up with a couple of fish. We tallied 2 yellowfin, 68lb and a short which was released, and a 20lb dolphin. We also had a whack from a white and got bit off by a wahoo. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

Today we had the Nick Funari charter out tuna fishing. The bite had slowed up and down the line, but we were able to find a couple of fish. We wound up 1 for 2 on 60lb yellowfin, 0 for 2 on white marlin, and 1 for 1 on 30lb dolphin. Thanks for fishing with us guys and see you for your overnighter later this fall.

Capt. Tom

7-22
Today we had the John LaMorte charter out for our first tuna trip of the season with friends Nealson and Buddy. Things started off a little slow with some white marlin coming into the spread but no takers. Buddy landed a small dolphin to start things off. John then hooked into a nice white that gave a great arial show, only to spit the hook. We also were hooked into a blue marlin for a short time. We finally got over some tuna and Buddy landed his first ever yellowfin, a 65lber. Next up was Nealson with a 58lber. Then John added a beautiful 25lb bull dolphin to the box. Good day of fishing with action spread out throughout the day. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

7-20
Today we had the Chris O'Meara private charter with his girlfriend Ashley to the fluke grounds. We had steady action throughout the day with nice fluke coming over the rail. The 2 person charter tallied 10 keepers to 6+lbs, 30 throwbacks, and a couple of seabass. We had a bunch more bites and dropped several nice fish on the way up. Great day on the water! Congrats to Ashley as she out fished Chris and had the big fish of the day, and it was her fish time saltwater fishing! Thanks for fishing with us Chris and Ashley, look forward to seeing you again in August!

Fluke fishing is great right now so call and jump on one of these trips! Don't miss out on getting your monster fluke!

Capt. Tom

Today we had Ken, Tom, and Joe charter the boat for the Duke of Fluke tournament out of Wildwood. We had pretty miserable conditions all day with heavy rains, but the guys hung in there and we were able to put a catch together. We were able to put 6 keepers in the box up to 23". Not enough to place in the tournament but still a respectable catch under the conditions we had. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

7-8
Today we had the Teddy Musial charter out to the flounder grounds. The drift was ok and the seas were down, but the bottom temps dropped and it put the fluke off the bite. The guys fished hard and came away with 3 keepers and about 15 throwbacks. Thansk for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

7-3
Today we had the Scott Phillippi charter aboard with Brenda and Jared. Things started off great with a keeper and a throwback as soon as the baits hit the bottom. Things really slowed after that with a couple of throwbacks. We made a six mile move and started to get into a couple of fish with some more throwbacks and a couple more for the box and a keeper seabass. Wind against the tide made for bad drifting conditions but the crew were able to catch some fish. Thanks for fishing with us and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

Finally at the end of the trip the fish turned on! The guys tallied 20 bass with 8 going in the box to 25lbs. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again!

Wednesday we had Elmer and his group aboard looking for some bass. We tried a couple of spots, missed a few bites, and boated a keeper and released a short. We took a ride to go see if we could find some blackfish. For their first time blackfishing the guys did ok, putting 14 keepers in the box to 6.5lbs. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

4-11
We had a great open boat crew aboard today. Our first drop didn't produce any bites so we made a little wiggle and started to pick away at the bass. Nothing fantastic, but we were able to put 7 nice bass in the box to 28lbs. Thanks for fishing with us everyone and look forward to doing it again!

Capt. Tom

Today we had the Nick Funari charter out along with his sons Nick and Joe. We were greeted with a stiff 25+ knot NW wind but the ole JC ate it up and we made our way to the promise land. Looked around a little and found some marks. Got on the hook and only had to wait about 15 mins to get em going. We had a great bite going and the guys boated 25 bass with 21 keepers and only 4 throwbacks. Biggest fish went around 22lbs. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Today we had Joe, Nick, Chase, and Allaigra out for their private charter. Definitely not the best conditions with 25-30 out of the NW. The crew stuck it out though and brought 3 fish to the boat boxing one. Thanks for fishing with us and look forward to doing it again.

In the afternoon we had Eric, Rich, Bill, and Murph aboard. We did some looking around and settled in on some good marks. Within 30 seconds, Eric had our first keeper on! We had alot of bites and 5 or so pulled hooks on some nice fish, but the guys were able to put 5 nice fish in the box. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

4-5AM
In the morning we had Dan, Eric, Jim, and Ed out for a private charter. It took a little to get em going this morning but we did and got a limit and then some for the guys. We also had alot of bites that didn't connect. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

4-3PM
In the afternoon we had Pat, Carl, Brian, Brian, Jeff, and Dave aboard. We had way less than stellar conditions with a steady 25 knot wind dead against the tide. We looked in an area with hadn't looked at yet this year and had some pretty good marks. We got set up and it on took about 2 minutes for Pat to start us off with a keeper. From there out it was an all out bite with doubles and triples. The guys tallied 28 bass with 26 being keepers to 21lbs. I can only imagine how good the bite would have been if the boat wasn't swinging all over the place and the baits would have been sitting still. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

4-3AM
We had Clyde, Mike, Allison, Dwight, Steve, and Max aboard today. The first area we stopped at showed some outstanding marks on the fishfinder but we could only muster 1 keeper and a couple of soft bites here. We made a move and got on a slow, steady pick of fish. The crew tallied 9 bass, all being keepers to 24lbs. Thanks for fishing with us and looking forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

Today we had the Gary Laudeman charter out along with friends Dave, Steve, Bill, Tim, and Mike. We went off away from the fleet to look around and settled in our spot all by ourselves. It took about 20 minutes to get the fish going, but when they did, it was on!! We had doubles and triples coming at a feverish pace for about an hour and half, and a good steady pick for the rest of the tide. The guys tallied around 50 bass up to 25lbs with only two being shorts. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

Today we had Chuck, Pat, Tom, Dan, and Matt aboard. Looked around a little and finally settled on our one and only drop of the day. We had a steady pick of fish throughout the trip landing 22 with 20 keepers. Big fish honors go to Dan with a 29lber and his brother Matt was right behind him with a 27lber. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

3-28
Today we had the John Willis charter out with friends Joe, Don, and Rick. We left predawn with a hard SE wind predicted to come on for later in the day. We set up on good marks but couldn't get a bite. We made a move and had a bunch of tenative bites, but John was able to connect and put a nice keeper in the box. We made a third and finally move which proved to be the one! Gannets everywhere pounding the water with bass feeding on herring and bunker! Two drifts were all it took to catch our limit plus bonus tags. The guys tallied 50 bass in one and a half hours. All the fish where keepers, no throwbacks, from 29-42" and 25lbs. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again!

Capt. Tom

3-20
We ran our first trip of the year this Saturday. We had Gary, Todd, and Sonny aboard looking for some stripers. We fished real hard and Todd finally put our first bass of the year in the boat, a 32"er! We had a couple of fish hooked up that came unbuttonned and a few more missed bites. Fishing will continue to improve of the next week with things getting in full swing in late March. We marked alot of fish that just didn't want to bite for some reason. Regardless, they are here and we'll be on em! Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.
